Welcome pilot.

Your task is to eliminate the other core pilot in your vicinty.

Your core follows the standard pilot control schemes:

P1 - Spacebar to charge up burst

P2 - Backspace to charge up burst

Holding your burst key will charge up your core, indicated by the smoke FX that is played. After 1.5-2s, your core will burst forward. If you keep holding the burst key, your core will continue going in a straight line.

Letting go resumes the core's rotation and slows it down to a standstill.

You are free to charge up burst whenever during your burst period or charge forward period, but be warned that there is a cooldown of ~4s. If you are holding the charge key and there is no smoke FX, your core is not charging up yet.

The core is a fragile machine, drilling through kilometers of subterranea, lakes of magma, and unforeseen resistance. We estimate that it should take two hits from your drill to destroy the enemy core.

Interesting game idea. I think the map is too big and charge takes too long. Me and my friend kept missing each other. Could be more fun and tense with a smaller map.

Similar to 2-Player Tank Games where you pause to attack however, instead of shooting a projectile, you are the projectile. It is an interesting mechanic, especially since the part where you attack is not your entire body.

However, this can sometimes result in an issue where when the player spins after shooting forwards, it can attack the enemy, and so can the enemy! So it can result in uninteresting games.

I also would prefer that if I release, I would still move forwards, but to a smaller extent. This allows for more dynamic because there's now a chance to dodge instead of being a static victim to the enemy.

But I do like the visuals and the concept.

It was fun :"D felt super competitive with my friend one small change I suggest is colour code p2 to be a different colour so its easier to identify who is who.

1. One of my favorite game and I think it has huge potential. There's a mechanic? that when you hit the enemy against the wall, they will bounce back collide with my drill again to conduct a quick kill (2 HP for now). Another thing is the machine turns at the end of the dash, and that could be used at a mechanic?

2. The controls are not clear...

3. Need to indicate how much health left for player, and also distinguished the two player.

4. When the players are far apart, I cannot target the enemy properly... maybe that's intentional?
